Painted Mountain Corn is a hardy strain that is descended from 70 varieties of native corn grown by Native Americans and homesteaders who lived in some of the harshest climates of North America. It’s tolerant to heat, drought, high winds and cold nights. Use Painted Mountain to make a superb flour, hominy or parched corn. Can be eaten fresh when young. Makes a striking ornamental, too.
