Bloomsdale Long-standing Spinach is a large, semi-upright variety with an early harvest. It handles hot weather better than other varieties and is slower to bolt. And it stands 2-weeks longer than most at the rosette stage. The crumpled leaves are dark green, savory and exceptionally nutritious with proven anti-cancer benefits. Bloomsdale Long-standing prefers light, rich, well-drained soil. Seeds germinate in 5-days to 9-days and the spinach reaches maturity 42-days later. Harvest when spinach leaves are full grown and enjoy raw in salads or add to stir-fry dishes.
