Inferno Hybrid Sweet Corn is an early-maturing, synergistic, yellow corn with an amazingly sweet, tender taste. It produces 16 to 18 rows of glossy, golden kernels that fill ears ranging in length from 7-1/2 in. to 8-1/2 in. The blunt-tipped ears are wrapped in handsome husks with long, attractive flag leaves. Tasty fresh, canned or frozen. Synergistic hybrids have high sugar content, tender-crisp texture and slow conversion of sugars to starches. When planting, isolate from super-sweet (sh2) and normal or high-sugar (su) hybrids. Plant seeds at a depth of 1 in. to 2 in., with 10 in. to 12 in. between plants and 36 in. between rows. For adequate pollination, plant corn seeds in blocks of at least 4 rows. Inferno corn prefers deep, well-drained, fertile soil and consistent moisture. Seeds germinate in 6-days to 10-days and corn matures in 73-days.
